Haifa is the third largest city in Israel with mixed population of Arabs and Jews. The Bahá'í World Centre which is a World Heritage site declared by UNESCO is located in Haifa. Various settlements were established in Haifa when different empires ruled the city. After the formation of State of Israel in 1948, Haifa municipality rules the city. There are praying sites as well as partying sites in Haifa, the perfect mix that any family will be looking forward to. The Haifa city is formed in three tiers. Many Haifa hotels are located on the upper tier to provide you a complete breathtaking view of the entire city of Haifa. Haifa hotels provide easy access to various attractions of Haifa such as cave of Elijah, Stella Maris church, German colony, and the infamous Bahá'í World Centre. Druze villages at the top of Mount Carmel can be an excellent spot to get excellent views of the city. On the southwest side of Haifa, you can find a vast stretch of beach. The Haifa hotels are not about relaxing on the bed and enjoying window views. The mid range hotels have only the basic facilities, and they are mostly family run hotels. There are panoramic and luxurious hotels too that provide excellent views of the bay and city.
